A message dated March 31, 2006, was read stating the Senate has                                     
passed HB 269 with the following amendment and it is transmitted for                                
consideration:                                                                                      
                                                                                                    
    SENATE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 269(JUD)                                                           
    "An Act relating to contribution actions relating to the release of a                           
    hazardous substance; and providing for an effective date."
